Vanishing

Every other day I read about the fisherman. You know him too. The one who never comes back home. How do we lose him? Why is he not home even the next day? It is not the seas that has claimed him. There is so much salt in those waters, no one would know his tears.

No one but his mother is interested in his life. His wife is not sure she wants the next baby. She rarely sees him. She wants her baby to know the father. The granny speaks about his fate line? But his wife doesn’t believe in palmistry. There is only one line that she fears and she is not ready to speak till her husband comes home. We will wait
